10 MILES OF CWR ADDED TO 2005 CWR PROJECTS!!!

To date there has been 38 miles of CWR installed on the two properties out of the 50 miles that is now scheduled.  The last project is a 10 mile project on track #2 of the Kansas City sub between Mosby Jct and Birmingham. This project is expected to start on October 31st.

¨       Tim Meyer supervised the installation of 30 miles of new 136# CWR, 15 miles on each property, earlier this season.

¨       Jack Boxleiter has supervised the IC&E crew’s installation of curve rail and ties all across the IC&E system.

¨       Jack will also oversee the installation of the new 10 mile CWR project between Mosby Jct and Birmingham on the double track north of Kansas City.  This project will use usable 136# from the UP to upgrade our jointed 115# track to CWR.  We expect this project to start on October 31st and be completed by the middle of December.

¨       Darren LeGarre’s switch and crossing crew has completed the installation of all the switches on the DM&E.  They will complete the year with a couple more crossings on the Tracy sub and work on the Hanska elevator expansion project in New Ulm.

¨       Randy Parmenter’s switch and crossing crew has completed the installation of all of the switches on the IC&E and will complete the year installing joint ties on the west end of the Mason City sub.
