2007 WAS ANOTHER BIG YEAR FOR SURFACING CREWS
ON THE TWO RAILROADS. WELL OVER
900 MILES OF TRACK WAS SURFACED USING OVER 200,000 TONS OF BALLAST!!
The Surfacing crews on the DM&E and
IC&E Railroads had another busy year in 2007 with nearly 1,000 miles of
surfacing and over 200,000 tons of ballast scheduled for the year. We had three contracting crews assist our own
forces with these project needs. Details
of the crews are listed below.
