System-Wide Monthly Update #6

11, June 2008

The 2008 program has been supplemented by the addition of $12 million in capital made available through a loan from the CP Railroad.  This loan will enable the Company to add three more rail projects plus a bridge project on the Onida sub to strengthen all the bridges to 286k loading.  Flooding in early May on the Marquette and River subs and currently on the Mason City, Marquette, River, Kansas City, PRC and Black Hills subs have tested the vigilance of the crews on both properties, however the engineering crews have performed admirably returning the tracks to service as quickly as humanly possible.

The rail projects that will be added with the supplemental capital are all on the DM&E and are as follows

¨       Seven and ½ miles of new 136# CWR on the Huron sub between MP 318 and MP 326 through the town of Lake Preston

¨       Seven and ½ miles of new 136# CWR between MP 336 and MP 349 though the town of Iroquois. This project will lengthen a shorter one in the area that was already scheduled

¨       Seven and ½ miles of new 136# CWR on the Tracy sub between MP 106 and MP 114 between the towns of Waseca and Janesville

To date we have installed

¨       Over 8 track miles of rail have already been installed on the two properties as of this date

¨       Over 85,000 ties have already been installed by the two Company tie crews and the Colo crew as of this date!

¨       Other projects for 2008 capital projects will be detailed further on the following pages.
